Tysoe Manor is an elegant and comfortable family house

This beautiful house combines traditional charm with contemporary comfort. Its stone walls and elegant lead-paned windows speak to its character, while working fireplaces in every room create a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the house. There are many different rooms to sit in, gather, and relax, each with its own character.

Music and culture have a natural home here, with both a baby grand piano and an upright piano, alongside a beautiful panelled library for quiet reading and reflection. For entertainment, the house offers table football, a games room with a pool and a chess table, and a large collection of board games.

There is an elegant dining room that seats up to 24 guests for larger gatherings and celebrations, while a smaller, more intimate dining room comfortably seats 8. The kitchen is modern, elegant, and fully equipped, and adjoins a charming breakfast room and a lovely sitting area with its own elegant fireplace. A separate laundry and large practical boot room complete this part of the house.

Tysoe Manor doesn’t really have an off-season. It merely changes character with the months. As the weather turns colder, the house draws inward. Open fires are lit in nearly every room, casting a warm glow through the evenings and making it the kind of place you are happy to come back to after a bracing long walk through the surrounding countryside.

Then, as spring arrives and the days lengthen, the Manor opens itself up entirely. The gardens come into bloom, the pool reopens, and life moves outdoors with long lunches on the terraces, barbecues and afternoons by the swimming pool and evenings that linger.
